Today, EIHA Board Members announced the appointment of Ms Lorenza Romanese as its new Managing Director. Lorenza is taking over Mr Michael Carus duties, who lead the association for the last 13 years.
Brussels, 1 February 2019 – The role has been designed as part of the Association’s new strategy to further cultivate its collaborative European Union institutions’ network, ensure quality growth for
the industrial hemp sector and secure the Single Market. Lorenza Romanese brings more than 10 years of solid experience as policy advisor and communication manager at European level, from the
oil and gas sector to the European Commission. Most recently, she led the European association of Independent Winegrowers, in the agricultural sector.
