In Trinidad in the Caribbean, our Gov’t has intense need for diversification in the economy as oil and gas prices have fallen so low that we can no longer depend on same to provide 70% of revenue. For quite a while i have had interest in Hemp’s possibility and at party meetings recently have brought it up.
I have been advised by a person in the Ministry of Trade that i should seek someone in the Hemp industry that may be interested in setting up plant locally so that i could approach the Minister with the volume of info i possess and likelihood of bringing the industry here. Thousands of hectares of arable land is available through Ministry of Agriculture. Cheap gas and electricity is also provided by Gov’t to new industry and ten year tax exemption and Joint venture with Gov’t is a possibility.
It is the purpose of my mail to enlist you assistance in interesting an entity in pursuing this initiative. Please oblige,
George Marcelle
