We are selling a nearly new flax/hemp decortication that we have currently installed in South Carolina USA and I was hoping you could help get the information out to your members. The line is in excellent condition and has an input capacity of 5,000kg’s per hour of straw. There are several reasons for the sale but primarily our company is focusing on our core technology and will be leaving the decortication of fibre up to the decortication experts!
The line is almost 100% LaRoche equipment and we also have bale openers, bale presses, filtration, forklift, floor scales, and everything else needed for decortication. If the potential buyer is interested, we could also discuss the take over of our facility lease (14,800 M2 / 25 hectares) which is ideal for fibre decortication and in the centre of a proven flax growing area (would excel at hemp too). In the facility we have approx 130 tons of decorticated flax fibre and over a thousand tons of dry straw.
Any facility looking for an entrée into the North American bast fibre market, this line could really accelerate their plans.
